Ingredients
1/2 onion
12 ounces of lean smoked ham
1 to 2 cloves of garlic
2 cans low-sodium navy beans
15 ounces crushed tomatoes
1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 cup molasses
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup water
Directions
Dice up the onion and sauté in a large saucepan.
Cut up the ham into chunks and add to the onions.
Chop up the garlic and add to the pot. Stir.
Add 15 ounces of crushed tomatoes, mustard and molasses, vinegar, pepper, and water to make it really saucy. Mix well.
